7 Essential Oil Uses and Benefits

The most common use of essentials oil in Thailand is rather nothing else, but for aromatic purpose in spa industry which have been a remarkable service that whoever travel to Thailand must try Thai spa for once.

But that is not the only way we can use it. Essential oil have been used for thousands of years in a variety of different purposes such as, perfumes, aromatherapy, skincare, or even for medicinal purposes.

To get the most out of this its benefits, here are 7 ways of how to use essentials oils in your daily life;

  1. Aromatherapy massage
    Essential oil help release muscle intense and help boosting the blood circulation. Drop essentials oils for massage use 10-15 drops it.
  2. Fragrances
    Drop a few drops of essentials oils in the water on the top container on the burner, the heat from candle-lit will gently deliberate the scent from the boiling water mixed with essentials oils to help feel relaxed and freshened up.

  3. Bathing
    Use a few drops of essentials oils in the warm water and then soaked yourself in it for 10-15 minutes to get the benefit from both skin and aromatic way, this will help you soothing and getting a smoother skin.
  4. Feet spa
    Use 4-5 drops of essentials oil in a bucket, mixed it with warm water and gently massage them for 10 minutes to feel more relaxed after a long day of work and get your skin a little bit smoother.

  5. Room sprays
    Use 10 drops of essentials oils mixed together with 7 tablespoons of water and 1 tablespoon of 95% alcohol, put it on a spray bottle. Spay them in any room in your house as an air freshener.
  6. Pillow talk
    If you have a trouble sleeping, this is a good tip for you. Put 2 or 3 drops of an essential oil which have a benefit of helping to relax and to feel calm like Ylang-ylang, rose or jasmine, to help you sleep better.

  7. Body and Facial Oils
    You can mixed the essentials oils with your routine body lotion but don’t put them too much or you will ended up having a greasy skin rather then moisturized and smoothed skin.  For facial skincare the recommended oils are rosehips oils and tea tree oil, you can use purely 2-3 drops or mixed it with your routine face care, but only 1 or 2 drops is recommended
