The Exclusive Resort in Phuket by Elizabeth Shen.

Thavorn Beach Village, Phuket Thailand is resort located on Nakalay Bay between Patong and Kamala. This resort is extremely exclusive because the rooms on the hills are accessible by their own cable car. They even have their own private beach. The beach is also home to many sea life including corals, sea cucumber, crabs and others. You will be able to catch some of these wonderful creatures during the low tide periods.
I had my stay at Thavorn Beach Village staying in the Hillside Ocean Facing with Jacuzzi.
It’s pretty much the same as the hotel’s gallery photos. Everything’s well kept. Personally, I went around the whole resort. And I realised my Hillside room has the best views. The room comes with a spacious balcony that gives you a panoramic ocean view and also sun loungers for you to just sit back and relax.

And the surrounding is really beautiful. This resort is really so different from the others, you’ll feel like you’re embraced by the nature. Don’t be surprised if you bump into chickens. They actually do live in this resort. The founder of Thavorn actually focuses a lot on conservation and sustainability of the nature, animals and even sea life. You will find short write-up of how sea life are being conserve and they even had an elephant in their early days.
They will also have a large tortoise, rabbits and birds experience session 2 times a day.
Basically, i just loved this resort so much. I was just spending time at their private beach and walking around the resort.

I also had an exclusive and private Romantic Dinner by the beach. It was a memorable dinner and perhaps a once in a life time experience. The dinner is set in your very own private candle-lit cabana. Menu: Salad with Grilled Fresh Seafood Main Course Surf & Turf (Grilled Seafood & Meats Platter) Dessert Comes with refreshing Tropical Mocktail

The food was very good. And the quantity and quality was top-notch.

You may also find other dining options at their Restaurants. Old Siam serves authentic Thai cuisine, while Marisa serves International and Thai cuisine (this is also where breakfast is being served)

 

They also serve BBQ Dinner Buffet, with selections of seafood and international cuisine

 

I had time to also do Thai Cooking Class at the Old Siam Restaurant. It was another special experience to have a cooking lesson just next to the beach. Sea Breeze, Thai Food, Activity Done = Perfection We had the cooking done with 2 experienced staff (one of them is a friendly chef). We had the opportunity to cook some amazing thai dishes, Tom Yum Kung; Green Curry; Phad Thai. All the dishes were done well, and we didn’t wreck the place after because we had so much help with cooking. My husband did a much better job than me, it was probably one of the handful times I tried to cook but it was really very much of a bonding session with your spouse.

Cooking takes a lot of work and especially teamwork. We ate what we cook after and we loved them all. And the best of all, we received certification from Thavorn! We were so thrilled with and we had our photos taken with the chef who taught us.

Other than full meals, you may also find Thai Sala in the middle of the pool. They provide freshly baked cakes and beverages. Sip your pot of TWG away. For people who book directly through Thavorn website, you will also be able to enjoy the VIP Lounge access. The lounge is fully air-conditioned. You may find sofas, bean bags and TV inside. Snacks and drinks is provided as well, the sandwiches are great by the way. — We also have ultimate spa session towards the end of our trip. CHANN Wellness Spa is tucked at a corner in the resort and they have been awarded 2017 Best Luxury Wellness Spa. We had an hour of Signature Massage done in their couple spa room, the room was extremely spacious complete with sauna, steam room and also a dip pool. The Signature massage was a medium and firm massage done by their experienced therapist, warm oil is used in the massage to ease and soothe your body from fatigue.

I ended up falling asleep in the session because it was too relaxing.
The CHANN Wellness Spa also provides other types of massage including foot and herbal compress massage.

Other than Thai Cooking Class and having massages, you can also look forward to activities like Yoga Class, Thai Language Class, Batik Painting, Fruit Carving, Muay Thai, Beach Volleyball, Beach Soccer or even Fishing.
Thavorn Beach Village is has everything under their belt, you don’t even have to get out of the resort. They provide and cater to everything, and if you must. They even provide Shuttle Bus Service 5 times a day, both ways! You get to save on transport as well. However you will need to book in advance with the receptionist to confirm your slots as there is a maximum guest they can accommodate for each trip.
Overall, the stay was a good one. We cannot have stayed anywhere else with such view, facilities and activities
